Located in the Sarasota, Florida area, Isaac Zamora, M.D., P.A., a board-certified dermatologist, started the Sarasota Psoriasis Center back in 1981 when he opened his practice. He saw the need for phototherapy, or light treatments, for the psoriasis patients who live here year round or part time.

Basically, he offers whole body treatment with either Narrowband UVB (NUVB) or PUVA therapy. Both of these are extremely effective for whole body psoriasis. In addition he offers hand and foot PUVA therapy for stubborn psoriasis in those areas. The treatments are easy and quick, and can be done two to three days a week.
 
In addition, these treatments are also effective for a host of other skin diseases including eczema, itching, vitiligo, dermatitis, and many others.
